Saffron Walden and Comberton Training Schools are accredited as a provider of employment-based teacher training by the Training and Development Agency for Schools.

The Graduate Teacher programme is an employment-based route to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). We have thirteen places each year for training as qualified teachers in the secondary sector. The programme is open to applicants who are graduates in the subject they wish to teach and who hold at least grade C in Maths and English at GCSE level.
